Below is a generalized usage approach (please always refer to the packaging instructions):

1. Strand Test — Try on a small section to ensure hair can tolerate the strength.

2. Protective Measures — Apply protective cream or petroleum jelly along hairline, ears, neck, and scalp edges. Wear gloves.

3. Section Hair — Divide hair into manageable sections for even application.

4. Apply Relaxer — Starting from the areas needing the most relaxing (usually new growth or previously untreated areas), apply the cream evenly.

5. Smoothing / Combing — Gently smooth the hair with fingers or a comb in the direction of hair growth for even distribution.

6. Timing — Do not exceed the recommended processing time. Overprocessing can lead to breakage or damage.

7. Rinse & Neutralize — Rinse thoroughly with warm water until all relaxer is removed. Then use a neutralizing shampoo (acidic) to stop the chemical process and restore pH balance.

8. Condition & Care — Deep condition the hair after treatment to restore moisture, repair damage, and maintain hair health.
